Classic Baked Banappleberry
If your ordinary baked apple pie just isn’t cutting it anymore, then put away your old cooking tools and take out some fresh apples, bananas, and sweet cranberries. This delicious baked apple dessert is one of many tasty treats for any Food Lover to enjoy!




INGREDIENTS:
  • 4 large baking apples
  • 1 small banana, chopped
  • 1/4 cup sweetened dried cranberries, chopped (orange-flavored recommended)
  • 1 TBSP honey (organic when possible)
  • 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 tsp orange juice



DIRECTIONS:

Take out each apple core to allow space for chopped fruit. Peel a strip off the top of each apple. Place each apple in a 6-oz ramekin cup. Combine cranberries, bananas, cinnamon and honey. Fill each apple with even amount of fruit mixture. Pour 1 TBSP of orange juice on each apple. Bake in microwave for 5 to 7 minutes until soft. Let stand 5 minutes.
